CCPA Default Updated to Explicit Consent (Opt-In)

New Secure Privacy accounts now have CCPA configured with explicit (opt-in) consent and default cookie blocking enabled out of the box — no manual setup required.

This reflects current best practice in California, where enforcement around cookies dropped without prior user consent has increased significantly.  If you're an existing customer, we recommend reviewing your CCPA settings and switching to opt-in consent to stay aligned with this standard.
